Common questions

Your questions, answered

How do I get there?
There are buses that stop nearby, such as the Q13 and Q31. The LIRR Bayside station is also close to the office.
I don't have insurance — how much does it cost to have my teeth checked and cleaned?
A doctor exam, cleaning, and check-up x-rays are $100.
How do I find parking around the neighborhood?
There is a driveway in front of the office.
Can I just show up?
Our office is appointment-based to ensure each patient has enough time to be seen by the dentist. If you need a same-day appointment, give us a call or email us.
Do I need x-rays when I come in for a cleaning?
A thorough examination requires x-rays to see possible cavities in between the teeth.
Who is in charge of the dental cleaning?
The dentist will perform your dental cleaning.
How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
At least two cleanings per year is recommended for most patients. However, it can vary depending on the amount of build-up (calculus or tartar) that is present.
